Altai Forest Honey

Forest honey can be considered the finest of all Russian honeys due to its unique medicinal properties and unparalleled flavor. Here are just a few of the nectar-producing plants found in forest honey: black maple, linden, mountain ash, willow, bird cherry, angelica, hawthorn, fireweed, clover, wild strawberry, blueberry, and raspberry. Color ranges from 34 mm to 85 mm. Consistency ranges from oily to fine-grained. Crystallization occurs 1–2 months after extraction.
